The announcer never has to squint at the scoresheet again.

HockeyOnline turns every game event into a ready-to-read stadium announcement: the welcome with the lineups, goals and disallowed goals, penalties, coincidental penalties, a team back at full strength, the last minute, timeouts, penalty shots, goalkeeper changes and the final score. Read it yourself, or press play and an arena-style AI voice calls it, in twelve languages, with a voice your club picks.

Who uses it: The stadium announcer in the booth, or the scorekeeper when there is no announcer.

How it works

  1. Pick your voice

The club sets a default voice for each language; the announcer can pick another one for a single game.

  2. Events become announcements

Every goal, penalty and goalkeeper change is written up with names, numbers and game time the moment it is entered.

  3. Read or play

Read the text out, or press play: the AI voice calls the goal word loud and proud, then scorer and assists.

  4. From the booth or the table

The announcer works on their own device in the booth, or the panel opens with one tap in the live screen.

What you can do

Written from the live game

Scorer, assists, game time, penalty and offence are filled in from the events just entered. No shouting across the table.

Twelve languages
Announcements in German, English, French, Italian, Dutch, Estonian, Swedish, Slovenian, Hungarian, Slovak, Czech and Polish.
AI voices with energy
Arena voices with a separate, louder goal call before the scorer. Listen below.
Your club’s voice
Every voice in the catalog has its own name and description. The club picks a default per language, the announcer can switch per game.

The goal announcement

Walkthrough

The home team scores in the 15th minute. This is what the announcer gets:

  1. Goal event entered at the table.

  2. “Home goal in the 15th minute, scored by number 7, Berger. Assisted by number 12, Huber.”

  3. Read it out, or press play and let the AI voice call it.

Hear it

Pick a country and hear every AI announcer voice HockeyOnline offers there, each calling the same goal. Teams and names are made up. AI voices by ElevenLabs.

Tips from the rink

  • Play the welcome announcement during warm-up: both lineups, read out without a single typo in a player’s name.

  • Pick a calmer voice for youth games and a louder one for the derby; the choice is per game.

  • No announcer tonight? The scorekeeper can press play for goals right from the live screen.

Questions

Do we need the AI voice to use the announcer?

No. The text announcements work on their own; the AI voice is optional.

Can we choose the voice?

Yes. The club sets a default voice for each language, and the announcer can pick a different one for a single game.

What do the AI voices sound like?

Listen to the samples on this page: pick a country, and every voice for it calls the same goal, with the text above the voices.
