Tournament day, without the spreadsheet.

Create a tournament, open the registration, let HockeyOnline build groups, brackets and the schedule across your fields, and record every game live with the scoresheet. Results, standings, brackets and scorer lists update on the public tournament page as the games finish, and the official paper forms come out filled in at the end.

Who uses it: Clubs and organizers running tournaments, from U9 small-field days to senior cups.

How it works

  1. Set up the tournament

Divisions, rules per age class (periods, overtime, shootout), fields and game length.

  2. Open registration

Teams sign up online with their squad; players can come from different clubs.

  3. Build the schedule

Groups, knockout rounds with consolation and placement games, spread over your fields with resurfacing breaks.

  4. Play it live

Every game opens with the scoresheet, clock, announcer and referee seats, like a league game.

  5. Crown the winner

Standings, brackets, scorer and goalkeeper stats update live; the paper forms print at the end.

A U11 tournament Saturday

Walkthrough

Eight teams, two fields, one day.

  1. Create two groups of four with the youth rule profile.

  2. The schedule spreads twelve group games and four placement games over both fields.

  3. Parents follow the live results on the tournament page from the stands.

  4. After the final, the standings are done and every form is printed.

Tips from the rink

  • Lock the schedule the evening before; nobody can move a game by accident on the day.

  • Put the tournament page QR on the arena screens so parents find the results themselves.

  • Record games with the scoresheet even when they never go to the league server; the forms fill themselves.

Questions

Do tournament games go to the league server?

Only if the league wants them there. Games without the league server are recorded the same way and end in the official paper forms.

Can players come from different clubs?

Yes. Registration takes players from any club, which is common for select and mixed teams.
