Your big screen. No extra hardware.
The arena scoreboard turns any TV, projector or LED wall with a browser into a full-screen scoreboard: game clock, period, score and the running penalty clocks with jersey numbers, in both teams’ colors. It follows the game live, whether it runs as a second screen on the scorekeeper’s computer or on its own small computer behind the screen.
Who uses it: Home clubs without a scoreboard controller, rinks with a TV or projector, and anyone who wants the big screen to look like their club.
How it works
-
Pick a screen
A TV above the ice, a projector on the wall, an LED wall with HDMI: anything with a browser behind it.
-
Open the scoreboard
On a second screen of the scorekeeper’s computer, or on a stick PC, Raspberry Pi or old laptop behind the screen.
-
Go full screen
Team names and colors come from the game. Nothing to configure.
-
Play
Clock, goals and penalties appear the moment they are entered at the table.
What you can do
Readable from the last row
Big arena-style digits for clock and score, penalty clocks with jersey numbers, strength at a glance.
- In your team colors
- Team names and colors come from the game, so the big screen looks like your club and not like a spreadsheet.
- Any screen
- A second screen on the scorekeeper’s computer, or any screen with a stick PC, a Raspberry Pi or an old laptop behind it.
- Live with everything else
- Goals, penalties and clock stops show up the moment they are entered, on the scoreboard and on every signage screen.
Putting the scoreboard on the big screen
Walkthrough
The TV above the ice has a small computer behind it.
-
Open the scoreboard for tonight’s game on that computer.
-
Switch it to full screen.
-
At faceoff, the clock starts with the timekeeper. Goals and penalties appear as they are entered.
Tips from the rink
A Raspberry Pi behind the TV is the cheapest scoreboard controller you will ever buy.
Check the view from the far end of the stands once: if you can read the penalty clock from there, so can everyone.
Use the same small computer for signage between games; it switches to the scoreboard on game night by itself.
What’s in it
- Full-screen scoreboard with clock, period, score and strength
- Team names and colors from the game
- Penalty clocks with jersey numbers
- Runs on a second screen or on any screen with its own small computer

Questions
Do we need a special scoreboard controller?
No. Any screen with a browser works: a TV with a stick PC, a laptop on a projector, or an LED wall with an HDMI input.
Does the scoreboard need its own internet connection?
When it runs on its own computer, yes, it follows the game through the shared game room. As a second screen of the scorekeeper’s computer it simply shares that computer’s connection.
Can we show sponsors between periods?
Yes: put the screen in a signage group and the intermission playlist takes over while the clock is stopped.
